Day 8 - Saturday

03/29/2014

Had the usual breakfast of yummy fruit smoothies, piddled around, then went to Restaurant Rose for lunch.

Next we headed to Flugplatz Bremgarten in Eschbach, just south of Freiburg. It was a beautiful day and we checked out the old timey planes.

We met the owner of this plane, Erwin Bierwald, who told us he built this plane from a kit, and is also the writer of a biography about Kempf.

Back at the Freiburg Flugplatz we had beer and watched the comings and goings.

Manuel Hug is so much better than automatic.

Back at home on the balcony.

 Our neighbor Filo from downstairs.

Dinner: Penne with cherry tomatoes and pesto, and Aperol Spritz.
